Orientation of Level 1 Semester 1 2024-25 Session held on 10 August, 2025
Faculty Orientation for the students of Level 1 Semester 1 2024-25 Session was held on 10 August, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Gallery of the Faculty of Fisheries, Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). The program was presided over by the honorable Dean Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sarder, Faculty of Fisheries, BAU.
A total of 120 freshers along with their parents, attended the orientation program. A event began with a brief self introduction session of the students followed by a welcome ceremony where they were greeted with flowers. A PowerPoint presentation described the major facilities of the faculty.
On this occasion, six meritorious students were awarded with Dean's Award for the first time in the History of Faculty of Fisheries. The honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan presented certificates among the awardees.
